Southwest Indian Ministries is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating and helping southwestern Native Americans. These Native People, like many all around the USA, struggle with poverty and lack of basic education every day. Children of every race need to be educated and taken care of as do their elders, who deserve the basic comforts of life.
At Southwestern Indian Ministries, they try to do their best in educating, comforting, helping and nurturing these people, not only with their material needs, but their spiritual needs as well.
In order for them to do this, they need donations...not only monetary, but there are other ways you can help. S.W.I.M. is enrolled in various programs that generate cash for certain items that are sent/donated to them. I have been involved with donating items to this organization since October of 1996 and it has been a rewarding experience.
Below, you will find a list of items that S.W.I.M. can use. Please look at it carefully, and if you can send even just one item, it will make a big difference in the lives of people that really do appreciate your efforts :-)
One way that Southwest Indian Ministries can raise money for their needs, is through the collection of used/cancelled postage stamps.
Here is a list of items that Southwest Indian Ministries is also in need of for Christmas gifts and office supplies.
